Ministry of Social Services Partners with UB to Host Discussion on Proposed Amendment to the Sexual Offences Act (1991)

NASSAU, The Bahamas — The Ministry of Social Services and Urban Development, Department of Gender and Family Affairs partnered with the University of The Bahamas to host the “Marital Rape” discussion on the proposed Amendment to the Sexual Offences Act (1991) at the University on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Prime Minister supports MOU between UB and University of Hawaii facilitating research and training in disaster risk reduction

NASSAU, The Bahamas – Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Philip Davis has thrown the government’s support behind a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation and Exchange, between the University of The Bahamas and the University of Hawaii. The MOU was signed during a Disaster Risk Reduction Summit facilitated by The Disaster Reconstruction Authority, the National Emergency Management Agency, and the Pacific Disaster Centre of Hawaii on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Baha Mar Resort. Public Managers Union and UB sign Industrial Agreement

NASSAU, The Bahamas — An Industrial agreement deemed ‘acceptable’ to both parties was signed between University of The Bahamas (UB) and the Public Managers Union (PMU).  The event was held at the Michael Eldon Complex on the UB campus, September 20, 2022.
