NASSAU, The Bahamas– Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), the Hon. Myles K. LaRoda, led a disaster risk reduction team to the VIII Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas and the Caribbean (RP23). The Regional Platform will be held February 28 to March 2 in Punta del Este, Uruguay. State-Minister LaRoda departed New Providence Friday, accompanied by Mr. Carl F.
