Organizers gear up for the Coconut Festival, Pelican Point, East Grand Bahama

PELICAN POINT, Grand Bahama, The Bahamas – Organizers are excited for the relaunch of the Pelican Point Coconut Festival after not having it for three years, said Minister for Grand Bahama, the Hon. Ginger Moxey on Thursday, July 7. During a press conference at the festival site, workmen were out in full force to ensure the site ready for the festival on Monday, July 11 – the final event of the Independence celebrations. Minister Moxey said she is excited that the Beautiful Grand Bahama initiative is one that is proving to be successful.
