National Youth Month

NASSAU, The Bahamas — The month of October has been launched as National Youth Month. The announcement was made during a press conference held at the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture on Monday, 26th September.  The Minister, Hon. Mario Bowleg said observance of Youth Month was a long time in coming since in-person celebrations were hampered due to COVID-19 protocols. “We as a Ministry are so happy to announce the launch of in-person activities for the 2022 National Youth Month Celebrations.  Our young people have been able to survive the past two-and-a-half years of this pandemic through their resilience and pure grit, we salute and applaud them.” He said this year’s theme, ‘Youth Building a B.O.L.D.
