KINGSTON, Jamaica — Agricultural industry officials of The Bahamas paid a courtesy call on Jamaica’s Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries the Hon. Pernel Charles (centre right), in Kingston, July 26, 2022. At the courtesy call were: Minister of Agriculture, Marine Resources and Family Island Affairs the Hon. Clay Sweeting (centre left); Parliamentary Secretary Leonardo Lightbourne (right); Bahamas FAO Ambassador H.E. Winston Pinnock(left); Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute (BAMSI), and Bahamas Agricultural and Industrial Corporation (BAIC) officials. During the meeting, both ministers vowed to work together to combat food insecurity.
