Minister of Transport has a tour of Nassau Cruise Port
NASSAU, The Bahamas — Minister of Transport and Housing, the Hon. JoBeth Coleby-Davis toured Nassau Cruise Port with officials of her ministry, March 17, 2023. The developing cruise port is touted as ‘cruising gateway’ to historic Nassau, currently being transformed to become an iconic and delightful waterfront experience. The tour to update the minister was conducted by CEO and Director of Nassau Cruise Port Ltd., Michael Maura.
Bahamas Maritime Week celebrated with an exhibit at the Mall at Marathon
NASSAU, The Bahamas — In celebration of Bahamas Maritime Week, an exhibit was launched, September 26, 2022 at the Mall at Marathon. At the opening ceremony, Minister of Transport and Housing the Hon. JoBeth Coleby-Davis addressed maritime industry officials and members of the public viewing the exhibit, which prominently featured the careers of Bahamas Maritime Cadets, who are young people taking scholarship opportunities to earn certifications, and participate in exciting maritime endeavours.
