Job Fair slated for this Saturday at Flamingo Gardens Community Park

NASSAU, The Bahamas — The Ministry of Labour and Immigration in conjunction with its community partners will hold a job fair on Saturday, March 4, from 9am to 3pm at the community park in Flamingo Gardens, announced the Hon. Keith Bell, Minister of Labour and Immigration during a press conference. This is In keeping with the government’s commitment to provide increased employment opportunities for the citizens of The Bahamas. The job fair will bring 40 employers, from every sector in our society, into the heart of the Carmichael Community. Labour and Immigration Minister Joins ILO In Observing World Day Against Child Labour

Monday, 13 June 2022 – The Minister of Labour and Immigration the Honourable Keith R. Bell joined the International Labour Organization (ILO) in the observance of World Day Against Child Labour on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the ILO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.  ‘Child labour’ is often defined as work that deprives children of their childhood, their potential, and their dignity, and that is harmful to physical and mental development. During his address, Minister Bell joined the Director-General of the International Labour Organization, Mr. Guy Ryder, and other leaders as they pledged to end all forms of child labour.
