A PINT OF LOVE – A blood drive encouraging all residents of Grand Bahama to donate blood was promoted during a press conference on Thursday, February 23, in Freeport, Grand Bahama.  Leading the charge, Minister for Grand Bahama the Hon. EAST END, Grand Bahama, The Bahamas – Thirteen homes are being repaired in East Grand Bahama by the Ministry for Grand Bahama and the Ministry of Finance, targeting elderly residents as well as those with disabilities whose homes were destroyed during Hurricane Dorian in September 2019. Chinese Ambassador has courtesy call with Minister Moxey on visit to Grand Bahama

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama, The Bahamas — Minister for Grand Bahama the Hon. Ginger Moxey welcomed to Grand Bahama the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas Her Excellency Dai Qingli in a courtesy call, July 28, 2022 at the Office of the Prime Minister.  After the courtesy call, the ambassador met with executives of the Grand Bahama Port Authority and the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce.  On her three-day visit she will meet with executives of Freeport Container Port and tour areas of East Grand Bahama that were devastated by Hurricane Dorian in 2019.  On Saturday, Her Excellency will visit and tour the Coral Vita reefs restoration project, and the Grand Bahama Children’s Home.
