KIGALI, Rwanda — Prime Minister and Minister of Finance the Hon. Philip Davis and delegation are attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Kigali, Rwanda, where Prime Minister Davis delivered his address today.  The Commonwealth meetings comprise Business, People’s, Women’s, and Youth fora, touching on such topics as ‘Bridging the Digital Divide,’ ‘Delivering Equitable Healthcare,’ ‘Redesigning Global Value Chains in a Post-COVID World,’ ‘The Business of Sustainable Fashion,’ ‘Trade: Challenging Protectionisms and Reducing the Barriers to Business,’ ‘Leveraging the Commonwealth for a Global Recovery,’ among other issues.

NASSAU, The Bahamas – While speaking during his Budget Wrap Up, in the House of Assembly, on June 16, 2022, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance the Hon. The Prime Minister pays respects at Lie-in-Repose of Dr. Eugene Newry

NASSAU, The Bahamas — Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Philip Davis paid last respects at Lie-in-Repose ceremonies for the Late Dr. Eugene Newry, former diplomat, educator and neurosurgeon, at Bethel Brothers Morticians, June 16, 2022.  Pictured, the Prime Minister signs the Book of Condolence, pays respects, and greets son of Dr. Newry, Eugene Torchon-Newry, and members of the family. A State-Recognized Funeral will be held June 17 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral with interment at the Catholic Cemetery, Tyler Street.    The service will be broadcast live via ZNS Radio Network from the cathedral, beginning at 11 a.m.
