State Memorial Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance for our Late Sovereign Queen Elizabeth II

NASSAU, The Bahamas — A State Memorial Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance for our Late Sovereign Queen Elizabeth II was held at Christ Church Cathedral on Sunday, October 2, 2022. A procession of all Law Enforcement Agencies and Parliamentarians preceded the Church Service, departing Rawson Square, Bay Street. Anglican Bishop of The Bahamas and the Turks & Caicos Islands, the Right Reverend Laish Boyd, Sr., addressed the congregation. Bahamas Christian Council President Bishop Delton Fernander also attended and gave remarks. There were remarks by Governor General His Excellency the Most Hon. Sir Cornelius A. Smith, and by Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Philip Davis, KC.
